Long Course Weekend Wales to host the 'Festival of Champions' for 2026

The fifteenth edition of Long Course Weekend Wales is set to host an array of international athletes in Pembrokeshire for the second edition of the Festival of Champions.

What began in the small coastal town of Tenby in 2010 has grown into a global movement with LCW events now taking place in Mallorca, the Netherlands, Belgium, Yorkshire and of course Wales. Across 2025, 20 athletes from each LCW event - 10 male & 10 female - have earned their 'golden tickets' to represent the LCW global family at the Festival of Champions, taking place on the 26th-28th June 2026. Some were the fastest. Most were simply Full Long Course Weekend finishers, picked at random - their reward for showing up, pushing through and living the LCW ethos.

Now, it all returns to where it began.

Tenby, the birthplace of Long Course Weekend, will welcome the world’s most passionate athletes for a weekend of endurance, celebration and community.

At Long Course Weekend Wales, every athlete who crosses the line is a champion.
