Pedal Cover, sponsor of the Wales Sportive, offer cycle travel insurance which is ideal if you are taking part in one of our sister events.  Typical travel insurance excludes anything other than leisure cycling so if you are competing in a LCW overseas event you need specific cycle travel insurance. The Pedal Cover travel policy for cycling will cover medical mishaps and emergencies on your holiday, along with essential covers like cancelled trips, lost luggage and holiday money.  But remember bicycles are not covered by this policy, they need to be covered either under Pedal Cover home insurance or the Bike Only policy. 

Travel insurance should be bought as soon as you book your trip so if you pick up an injury, between now and the event meaning you can’t compete, you are covered.  Annual policies cover you from the day of purchase while single trip policies can only be purchased 120 days in advance.
