Hywel Dda Health Charities
Hywel Dda Health Charities is the official charity of Hywel Dda University Health Board. The aim of our charity is to make a positive difference to the health, wellbeing and experience of NHS patients, service users and staff across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The generous charitable donations that we receive from patients, their families and our local communities do not replace NHS funding but are used to provide services and activities above and beyond what the NHS can provide.

Maggie's
Our founder Maggie Keswick Jencks used her own experience of having cancer to create a new type of cancer care. The first Maggie's opened in Edinburgh in 1996, and we now have a network of centres across the UK and some abroad. Maggie's idea was that with the right support, nobody would lose the joy living in the fear of dying when diagnosed with cancer.
